ADOPTION FEES
Dogs and puppies come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with $40 compulsory Local Council lifetime registration included in the adoption fee.

Cats and kittens come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and with $40 compulsory Local Council lifetime registration included in the adoption fee. Please note GST is included in these prices and some purebred dogs and cats may cost extra.

DESCRIPTIONS
Please note that descriptions of dogs and cats as purebred (rather than crossbreed) are given in good faith and are based on assessment of the animal's features. Burwood Pound cannot guarantee the age, breed or purebred state of any dogs or cats listed.

The age given for animals is their approximate age on the date they were listed for adoption. To obtain the current age, please add on the number of weeks or months since that date. The estimated size of puppies when fully grown is given as a guide only. PAWS advertises Burwood Pound animals here in good faith but can accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the information given.

VIEWING HOURS 
Burwood Pound operates strictly on an appointment system. If you are interested in a particular animal you must contact the Pound on 02 97473999 during business hours to arrange a meeting. Burwood Pound does not have general viewing of all animals available for adoption.

VOLUNTEERS
Burwood Pound no longer recruits volunteer dog walkers.
