![]() CHIQUITA Female Chihuahua X (?) Aged approx. 18 months Small size
Chiquita is a little sweetie pie, happy
and loving, always interested in coming up for a cuddle and a warm lap
while you watch TV. She is a Chihuahua with something else added, which
means she has all the spunk of a Chihuahua but without the breathing
issues of the short nose. This spunky girl will bark at passing dogs or
through the fence but stops when you asked then comes to tell you all
about it. Chiquita loves her food which includes small raw bones or dog
biscuits and doesn't dig or chew the furniture. She sits for treats, comes
when called and is completely housetrained. Chiquita sleeps soundly on her
dog bed all night but would sleep on your bed if you let her! She likes
playing with toys or having a gentle tug of war and sometimes just races
round the yard just for the pure joy of it. Chiquita is a real lady with a
touch of class, and loves going for walks and, if you walk past the front
door or rattle your house key, she is there with you looking hopeful. She
sits in front of you asking to have her lead attached, then later will sit
for you to remove it.
Chiquita
struts along, showing off to her admirers and inspecting all the
interesting smells on the way. She has a low maintenance, gorgeous, shiny
red coat and loves for you to brush her to keep her looking marvellous.
Chiquita is a house dog who must always have indoor access via a doggy
door or similar but she is not for the faint hearted either as she runs
like the wind and will slip past you at the front door if you are not
careful! She also needs a home where there is another small male dog for
company.

Male Silky Terrier X Aged approx. 8 years
Small size Copper is a Golden Oldie with a golden personality and a heart to match. How could his owners have left this gem of a dog at the Pound? Copper is in foster care with another small male dog and the two of them spend their days together basking in the sun or tucked up on the couch if the weather is dreary. Copper has a gorgeous copper coloured coat which is fairly low maintenance and just needs a bath, tidy up and a weekly brush to keep it looking lovely. Copper is house trained and loves to go to the local dog park for a sniff and chat to the other dogs there as he is a very sociable little fellow. The best home for Copper will be with a quiet family who are not looking for an extremely active dog however he does enjoy a short daily walk. Copper loves adults and is fine with the chooks in the family, ignoring them completely. Young children can be daunting for Copper so a home without them would suit him just fine. Copper wouldn't mind the company of another small dog although it is not absolutely necessary if his owners are not out at work everyday.

Male Schnauzer X Aged approx. 7 years
Small size
Collin's foster carer has nothing negative
to say about this stunning boy. She thinks Collin is the perfect dog and,
when he came from the Pound, his matted coat was clipped off while he was
under anaesthetic for desexing and a dental. He looked like a totally
different dog once that was done and we hardly recognised him. Collin
is house trained, loves to go walking with his foster carer and enjoys
every morsel he is given. He has impeccable manners and just sits and
waits for his dinner to arrive. He loves all the dogs that he meets when
on his walk and wags his tail wanting to interact with them. Collin would
like a home with a retired couple who are looking for a quiet boy who just
sleeps when his carer goes out. He would also suit a family with some
older children who would like a sweet dog to take care of. Collin is a
house dog and must have access to the house via a doggy door or similar.
His coat will grow and then require regular grooming and clipping to keep
him looking lovely.

Male Tibetan Spaniel XAged approx. 6 months
Small size (when fully grown)
Pablo is a very well behaved little
fellow who does love to climb all over you and lick your face if given the
chance though! Pablo is a very thoughtful puppy, bringing in sticks and
pieces of wood as gifts to his foster carers. He is in foster care with
two other small dogs and does love to tag along with the younger dog
belonging to his foster carer and they play lots of puppy games together.
Pablo's house training is coming along well and his lead training is also
going great guns. He eats well and loves all of the food that is dished up
to him. Pablo would love a new home with a family who have another small
dog for him to romp around with. He is a house dog with a gorgeous
white/cream coat that is fairly low maintenance and just requires a bath,
brush and the occasional trim to keep him looking lovely. Pablo is a
house dog and must have access to the house via a doggy door or similar.
Pablo comes desexed, microchipped, FULLY vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400. If you would like more information on Pablo or to arrange to meet him, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Male Poodle X Maltese Aged approx. 5 years Small size Dan is a gorgeous, happy and energetic boy who loves his daily walks, even just a walk around the block to stretch his legs makes him happy as Dan lives in an apartment. Dan is an easy going boy who is happy to entertain himself with his toys or to play fetch with anyone who is up for a game. He is house trained and responds well to discipline and likes to curl up and watch TV with you in the evenings. Overall Dan is a quiet dog who only barks when there is someone at the door. When someone new comes to the house Dan can become a little shy and protective of his foster parents but after a few minutes getting to know the person he is back to his usual happy self. Dan is very cuddly and is most happy just being in the company of humans. He is very much loved by his foster mum but she presently lives in an apartment which is not the best environment for a dog like Dan. Dan has a gorgeous Poodle coat which will require regular grooming and brushing to keep him in good condition.

Male Purebred Maltese Aged approx. 8 years
Small size Sammy is a lovely little dog who has absolutely attached himself to the teenage boy in his foster home and is happiest when he is with him. He does not mind fellow doggy company, but is not one to join in with doggy playtime and is definitely most happy with his human partner. Sammy has a fairly independent nature and would cope well as an only dog provided he does not have to spend long hours without human company. He has a strong personality and is best suited to a ‘dog savvy’ household who are able to provide him with love and affection as well as consistent boundaries. Sammy is a house dog with a non-shedding coat that will grow quite long and will then require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling fabulous. Sammy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $200. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on Sammy or to arrange to meet him, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Male Shih Tzu X Aged approx. 5 years
Small size Chip is a friendly little boy who is in foster care with another little male Shih Tzu who he just adores. Chip was rescued from the Pound where he was an unclaimed stray and how his life has changed! He is now enjoying the comforts of a warm bed at night and a loving family around him who are helping him to grow in confidence more each day and become a happy boy. Chip eats his food well and loves his tummy being tickled. He is not a biter, licker, digger or scratcher, he settles well at night and is house trained. He is such a good boy! Chip is a house dog with a high maintenance coat that requires regular grooming and clipping. He is best suited to a home with another desexed dog of similar size and age to be his companion. Chip comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400. Male Terrier X Puppy Aged approx. 4 months Small size (when fully grown)
Garry
came into the Pound at a very young age, its hard to imagine why a lovely
puppy like this would have found himself in such a terrible situation. Garry
is in foster care with a young family who have 3 children, he is great
with the children joining them in play whenever they invite him.Garry
engages with the other dogs in his foster family giving a little bark to
let them know its play time, when he wants play time with the humans in
the family Garry will give a little tug on your trousers as if to say its
play time guys! Garry
loves to spend outdoor time with his foster family running and
playing chasings on the grass with the other dogs and children. Garry
is in for a cuddle with the children joining them on the couch at any
opportunity. Garry is not a fussy
eater and gets along well with the resident dogs one of whom is his
brother Graeme We would ideally
love to rehome Graeme and Garry together however if the family already
have another small dog Garry would
soon adjust to that. Garry has a
lovely soft and silky coat that will require grooming and clipping, Garry
is a house dog and sleeps all night long.

Female Shaggy Dog X A ged approx. 9 years
Medium size Tessie is a very affectionate, loyal and well trained girl. She's living in foster care with small dogs and is great with them but would also be happy as an only dog. Tessie is housetrained, walks well on the lead, is great in the car, will bark to alert you to something not quite right and will keep the birds away from your veggie patch! She's got so much personality and nine is really not that old for a dog. Tessie has plenty of life in her but will happily go to bed when asked and relax nearby whilst you watch TV. She came from a house with children so is used to kids but she's not keen on cats. Tessie is looking for a home where she'll be treasured and cared for and she'll repay you a thousand fold. At her first home she was just left in the backyard for many years and then her owner was planning on shooting her! This wonderful dog was truly blessed to find her rescuer and deserves only the best home now. Tessie comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $200. Male Purebred Cocker Spaniel Aged approx. 4 years Medium size
Bailie was surrendered to the Pound because his owners decided that
after having him all of his life they no longer had any time for him!
Bailie is now in foster care with another ex-PAWS
dog Pedro and is enjoying the company. He would love a home with a
family who know and love the Cocker Spaniel breed and is a stunning
dog who yearns for human company and will do anything for his human(s). Bailie
loves going out on walks with his foster carer and sleeps soundly
beside her bed in his basket all night long. His ideal home will be
with a family who do not go out to work and leave him alone all day
and another female dog similar in size with a gentle temperament would
suit Bailie the best. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is on
medication daily for this condition but has not had any seizures since
being in foster care so we believe that his medication is keeping his
epilepsy under control. Epilepsy medication is not expensive and
amounts to about $20 per month. Bailie will need regular walks as he
is an active dog and he has a lovely, shiny black coat that will
require regular brushing and grooming to keep him looking and feeling
great. Bailie is a house dog and must have access to the house at all
times.

Male Maltese X Aged approx. 8 years Small size Sadly Perro was surrendered to the Pound by his previous owner. He is a lovely little boy who is absolutely full of life and if we didn't know his real age you could mistake Perro for a puppy as he loves to play games with his foster carer, bringing her the ball so that he can play a game of 'fetch'. Perro loves a roll in the grass and lying in the sun but his favourite thing is his twice daily walk with his carer. His ears prick up when asked if he would like to go for a walk and there is plenty of life left in this boy. Perro is equally content to snuggle on your lap to have a cuddle and a pat and will jump into bed with you if you give him the chance. He is fully house trained, comes to his name and knows the commands 'come', 'down', 'out', 'up', 'sit' and 'shake'. Perro would love a home with another small dog for company or a retired couple who have all the time in the world for this little dog. His coat was extremely matted when he arrived into our care but he has now been clipped off and when his coat regrows it will require regular grooming and clipping. Perro is a house dog and must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar.

![]() JASPER Male Australian Terrier X Dachshund Aged approx. 3 years
Small size Jasper is a pint sized bundle of happiness and everyone who meets him says "What a happy dog!". He loves his food (especially chicken necks) and is house trained. He also likes to be outside as much as inside. Jasper co-exists happily and peacefully with a cat, a Maltese and a Border Collie. He is happy to meet other dogs and play, whether they be extremely big or small and loves to run!!! Jasper's favourite game that he adores to the exclusion of anything else is chasing and fetching balls and can even do this in a "one-ball" situation with another dog that he has just met. If you like to play cricket he is the dog for you - just bowl and bat whilst he fetches the ball for you. Friendly and outgoing, Jasper is happy to meet and greet with a child, adult, male or female or dog. He will follow you around devotedly and likes to be spoken to. Jasper comes when called eagerly and enthusiastically - unless he is fetching a ball and is a true, devoted companion. Male Terrier X Aged approx. 3 years Small size
Schmutz is a cute
little man who aims to please. He is super sociable, loves people and is
very inquisitive and, if he could, Schmutz would randomly door knock the
neighbourhood for a chat and a bone. His beautiful brown eyes will melt
your heart and you'll soon find yourself going out of your way to give him
a much appreciated belly rub or rumble. Schmutz walks well on the lead and
is obsessed with rustling in bushes and tall grass whenever he can ... he
also likes to chase flies! Schmut sleeps all night without a peep, is
house trained and is OK to be left alone for short periods while you do
the shopping or pop out for a meeting. Schmutz
had to be completely clipped after leaving the Pound
but, going by his current
texture, he will be a gorgeous, soft and silky fluff ball in no time. This
boy appreciates that he has been rescued and his gratitude is reflected in
how quickly he has bestowed love and loyalty.
Schmutz is a house dog and will have a coat that will grow and then
require regular grooming.

![]() TEQUILA Female Pomeranian X A ged approx. 12 monthsSmall size Tequila is a gorgeous, sweet and affectionate little dog who loves to travel in the car, is very energetic, enjoys a game of anything you have in mind for her and absolutely loves a walk. Tequila was timid when she first arrived from the Pound but as each day passes she becomes more confident and is really enjoying her new life with her foster family. Tequila is in foster care as an only dog and seems to enjoy all of the 'one on one' attention so a home with a family who are looking for a companion dog would suit her down to the ground. Tequila is a house dog that is house trained and would like access to her new home via a doggy door or similar. Tequila has a gorgeous, soft, sable coat that will require regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking swish. UPDATE 8 JANUARY: In her previous foster home, Tequila was an 'only dog' and, although she was going OK, it was decided that she be moved to a new family with other pets. It proved to be the best decision and she is now in a home with two other dogs, a cat and two kids and loving it. Tequila is a confident, bubbly little girl who is a delight to have around. Her favourite pastimes include chasing the ball, playing with her doggy friends, afternoon naps and cuddles. She is great with the cat and they are firm friends. Tequila is good with kids, doesn't bark unnecessarily and does not dig (loves her food too) She would suit a range of families including retirees, single folks and those with children but another dog for companionship is essential.

Male Maltese X Silky Terrier Aged approx. 15 months Small size Timmy came into foster care a very anxious and timid little dog so who knows what has happened to him in his previous life. Timmy's past is behind him and from now on his life will be full of love and good times instead of anxiety and neglect. Timmy is in foster care with three other small dogs (two males and one female) and we believe his ideal home will be as an only dog with a couple who do not have children or perhaps work from home. If they had another dog then Timmy would be best suited with a female doggy pal of similar size. It has been such an enjoyable journey watching Timmy go from quite an anxious little dog to being more relaxed, settled and playing just like a young dog should. He loves to chase his toys, toss them in the air and then chase them some more. He travels well in the car and walks well on the lead without pulling or barking and reacting when he sees another dog. Timmy is a little unsure when he meets people for the first time but easily comes around and was wonderful with the groomer when he recently had his first professional makeover. You can see just looking at his picture what a handsome boy he is! Timmy is a house dog that is house trained and he uses the doggy door like a pro. He sleeps quietly through the night on his bed and wakes so excitedly in the morning looking for his human to let him out for his morning inspection of the garden. Timmy has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is on medication daily for this condition. He has half a tablet morning and night and has not had any seizures since starting on his medication so we believe his epilepsy is now under control. Epilepsy medication is not expensive and amounts to about $20 per month. Timmy has a low maintenance coat and a frequent brush and regular clip will keep him looking as he does now .... very handsome and showing off his big brown eyes! JAKE AND ASTRO Two Male Great Dane X Puppies Aged approx. 6 months Large size
Introducing Jake (right ) and Astro (below) - two beautiful Great Dane X puppies with a story of their own. As puppies they were dumped at Wyong Pound and came into care into care in early August. Since then they have been under the care of Brian, a very kind vet from Belmont Veterinary Clinic and Brian and his team have been fantastic working with the pups and trying to keep the costs down where possible. Up until now the pups have needed to go back for cast changes, antibiotics and general check ups and the costs so far have been $2000. The pups may look normal with their casts on but they are suffering with a condition known as "knuckling over". This is a deformity in their legs where the joints and bones grow at different rates and in turn this leaves them crippled. It is not uncommon in large breeds and, if caught early, can be corrected. Due to the severity of Jake and Astro's condition they will both require surgery so that they can lead a normal life but without this they have an uncertain future. Due to the complexity of the surgery, they now need to be seen by a specialist surgeon and we are currently seeking donations as Jake needs to have his surgery immediately. At the moment Astro is coping with having half casts and will need surgery further down the track but Jake's situation is desperate.
Jake and Astro will come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400 EACH and are not available for adoption outside NSW. If you would like more information on either Jake or Astro or to arrange to meet them, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Male Maltese X Aged approx. 2 years Small size
When Fred came to his foster home his coat was in such bad shape he had to
be clipped so short he was practically nude. Now, a few weeks later, his
hair is growing back nicely and Fred is loving sunbaking in the yard. Fred
came with another
PAWS
dog Cheech and they were both so terribly frightened
of everything they would run away, even from cuddles and pats. After a
little coaxing with food treats, Fred now loves pats and makes sure he is
there at the door ready and waiting with a wagging tail and a smile on his
face, for his hello pat and belly rub when you get home from work. Fred has
come a long way in just a few short weeks and now adores cuddles and tummy
rubs. He knows to sit on his 'mat' inside and will even jump up for a cuddle
on your knee, something we could not have imagined the Fred that came to us
on the first day doing. With a little more time and persistent training Fred
is learning to wear a harness (this part is already mastered) and is
practicing the feel of the lead just in the backyard for now, but hopefully
soon out on a walk. We're sure he will be quick to realise that walks are
just as good as pats! Fred is house trained and responds very well to his
name and the basic commands 'come', 'out', 'up' and 'down'. With a little
more training he will definitely be able to learn more commands and is
really starting to show his personality while playing with his doggy foster
friend Cheech (even playing 'find the hidden rawhide treat!). Fred is a
really cute little boy who would be a magnificent addition to a family with
older children and another dog to play with (although we're sure would love
to go to a new home with Cheech!)

Male Purebred Maltese Aged approx. 3 years Small size Harley is a beautiful little man who was very timid and scared when he first arrived in foster care but is quickly realising that the world is not such a frightening place after all. Harley has now bonded with his foster carer and her dog (a large crossbreed) and two cats. He loves cuddles and will jump into the arms of anybody who will give him kisses as he is just a little snuggle bug! Harley is already house trained and is learning new commands, having already mastered 'sit'. Bed time is Harley's favourite time of day and he sleeps soundly alongside his foster carer all through the night. Sometimes not even breakfast can get him out of bed! Harley would be best suited to a quieter home with no small children and, with the right encouragement, he will grow to be a confident little man. Harley has been clipped right back as when he came into rescue he was a matted mess and when his coat starts to grow it will require regular grooming. Harley is an inside dog that will need access to the house at all times and he would be best suited to a home where he will not be left home for long periods of time, perhaps with another little doggy friend for company. Harley comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on Harley or to arrange to meet him, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. ![]() DENNIS Male Maltese X Aged approx. 5 years Small size
Dennis was
surrendered to the Pound by his owners and we are not sure why as
Dennis's foster family think that he is a fantastic little
guy. Dennis appeared lost when he first went into foster care but
has settled happily now and enjoys a nice family life. He walks
well on a lead and loves to go out walking. Dennis gets along
famously with his foster carer's own dog who looks just like
him. He sleeps all night long downstairs in his basket without a
problem and can be left alone so would probably be fine as an only
dog so long as he was not left for long periods of time. Dennis
would love a home with a fantastic family who will give him the
attention he deserves. He is a house dog and is grasping the
concept of house training and using the doggy door with
ease. Dennis absolutely loves his cuddles and pats and will nuzzle
into your hand if you stop patting him. He eats anything that is
put in front of him and has a low maintenance coat that just
requires a brush and a trim. Dennis' coat is low shedding.

after being found wandering the inner city streets in Sydney all alone and
very hungry. PAWS
agreed to take the three boys and we are committed to finding them the best

home with another small dog for company. This is mandatory as they are at
their happiest when they have a playmate. The boys are doing extremely well
with their house training and wake their carer during the night if they need
to go outside in a hurry. Lucas and his brothers sleep all night long in

is a house dog and is
not a small boy weighing in at about 13kgs. He loves going for

favourite thing in the world is playing with his ball. He will do
this for hours but is reluctant to bring it back as if you throw

owner took her to the vet when she injured her leg but, when given
the news about her injuries and that specialist surgery was
required to fix Ruby's leg as she had
fractured both her radius and
ulna,
told the vet to euthanase her. The vet asked if
PAWS
would take Ruby on and have her surgery done and of course the
answer was a resounding YES. Ruby is just a baby with so much
love to give and well worth any effort to save her life.
Ruby is in foster care with
other Poodles and does enjoy their company so, for that reason,
Ruby will only be rehomed with another dog for company and not
as an 'only dog'. Ruby cries like a baby when she does not have

![]() LUCY Female Purebred Pug Aged approx. 4 years Small size Sadly Lucy is blind and not coping with her current environment so her family have had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. They have an awkward backyard, an 18 month old son who does not understand Lucy’s needs and another child on the way. Lucy is an outgoing Pug who doesn’t let her lack of sight get in the way of anything. She unfortunately lost the sight in both her eyes about 18 months ago but bounced back quickly with a lot of encouragement from her family who helped her gain confidence to move around again. When Lucy is running on the beach and through the water people walking past would never guess that she is totally blind! At home Lucy gets around the place with a 'bumper bar' harness that protects her face when she gets excited or runs the wrong way. It is also very effective in navigating Lucy around any new obstacles. Once Lucy is confident in her new surroundings she will be fine with out it though it will take patience, time and encouragement from her new family. Lucy needs a flat, safe backyard with minimal obstructions where she can lay in the sun during the day if she wishes. Her main requirement is to know that someone is around and that they are happy for her to snuggle at their feet or to sit on their lap for a cuddle. Lucy has a very loving personality and will provide the right family with endless love, company and affection. She is a house Pug who will suit a calm environment without young children. Male Lhasa Apso XAged approx. 8 years Small size Basil was found under a bush in terrible condition just on Christmas Eve. The vet clinic that Basil was handed into advised the local Pound and, instead of being impounded, he was released to PAWS under duty of care for the mandatory seven days. We started treatment on Basil immediately as he was in so much pain from head to toe that he had shut down and wasn’t even moving. Matted and riddled with fleas, Basil couldn’t even go to the toilet due to the matted hair on his bottom. He had sore and dry eyes, infected and filthy ears and a mouth full of rotten teeth. Basil was also unable to put one leg on the ground, perhaps from some sort of accident or being kicked severely. His heartbeat was irregular and the vet thought he may not make it as he was going to require a lot of medical assistance. To get him through Christmas, Basil was placed on antibiotics and pain killers for the few days until we could get an appointment with a medical specialist at SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital). He had an ECG performed by the specialist which determined that infection and pain was the cause of Basil’s irregular heartbeat and PAWS started the long process of healing this dear little dog. Basil's back was also very sore to the touch and, on top of it all, he had a case of demodectic mange. Basil’s many bad teeth were removed (he still has some left and has a little smile with two front teeth), his ears were flushed, he was desexed then placed on various medications and treatments to help him get well. Basil's matted coat has also been clipped off very short. His foster carer adores this dear little battler as, right from the word go and in spite of all the pain and abuse he has suffered for a very long time, he had so much love to give. Basil is quiet and sweet and just fits in with the household. He gives kisses to his doggy foster brothers and sisters who love him too and is just a little innocent who deserves nothing but the best. Basil is housetrained and generally quiet but will give you a couple of barks to alert you to the fact that it is actually time for his dinner! He loves to curl up with you on the sofa and is delighting in being part of a family, He also loves the comfy beds and sleeps through the night. Basil is currently only doing short walks but walks well on the lead. He is a well behaved dog who is eager to do the right thing and would love a home with a family who will give him all of the comforts that a senior citizen deserves Basil is a house dog and is house trained. His coat is non shedding and will require some grooming to keep him looking super handsome. PLEASE NOTE: Basil won't be available for adoption until he finishes his treatment. Please watch this space!
When available, Basil will come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $200 and is not available for adoption outside NSW. It's hard to believe this beautiful little

was impounded and whilst in the Pound she was attacked by another dog
leaving her front leg mauled to point that it was initially thought
amputation would be the only option. Luckily for Chanel, we at
PAWS
know some wonderful vets who worked their special kind of magic and were
able to save Chanel’s leg. Chanel is making an amazing recovery and has
even started to go for short walks which she enjoys immensely. Chanel
has settled into her foster home perfectly and is a delightful girl with
the sweetest personality and who loves everyone .... her little tail
just never stops wagging. She does not seem to have been left with any
issues following her ordeal as she gets along wonderfully with the other
dogs in her foster home, even the much larger Border Collie. Chanel is a

require regular clipping. Chanel would love a home with a family who
will spend lots of time with her, take her on walks to the park and
maybe where she will have the company of another similar sized dog to be

![]() Female Wire Haired Jack Russell Terrier A ged approx. 9 yearsSmall size This truly beautiful little girl can only be described as very loving, extremely easy going and quite unlike a Jack Russell in nature as she is quiet and very, very sweet. Belle is 9 years young and loves to be with you as well as spend time pottering around the garden poking her nose into everything. She can be startled by loud noises and thunder and would prefer a quiet home environment. Belle is great with other dogs and would really love to have another little four-legged friend that would enjoy romping through the garden with her. Belle is house trained and her coat is easy-care with some shedding. Belle was surrendered with her companion Snoopy and they would be happy to find forever homes either separately or together. Belle would be ideal for someone who can spend some time at home with her and take her for a nice stroll each day. Belle is a house dog and she is house trained. Belle comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $200. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on Belle or to arrange to meet him, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check Denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www.paws.com.au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.

Male Maltese X Poodle Aged approx. 9 years Small size
Snoopy is a gorgeous boy who is 9
years young and has a heart of gold. Snoopy is a lovely, sweet,
gentle, quiet boy who loves a cuddle and enjoys the company of
other dogs. He is such an easy dog to have around and is a genuine
sweetie pie. Snoopy's favourite hobby is simply snoozing in the
sun or on the lounge. Both Snoopy and Belle were surrendered as
their owner was in the final stages of cancer and could no longer
take care of them. It would be lovely if both Snoopy and Belle
could find a home together but this is not absolutely necessary.
Snoopy would be ideal for someone who can spend time at home with
him and take him on a nice stroll each day. He is a house dog and
has a coat that will require regular grooming.
Snoopy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention for the special adoption fee of $200 and is not available for adoption outside NSW. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on Snoopy or to arrange to meet him, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. ![]() IVY Female Poodle X Maltese A ged approx. 8 monthsSmall size When Ivy first arrived in her foster home she was just a tad shy but it took her no time at all to bond with her foster mum and her loving nature quickly shone through. Ivy is a super affectionate little dog who loves nothing more than to be on receiving end of pats and cuddles and is quick to jump into an available lap for a smooch at any time. Ivy is a well behaved girl who sleeps through the night without a peep and is making great progress with her house training. Typical of Poodles, she is very clever and taught herself to use the doggy door in just 24 hours. Ivy gets along well with all the other little dogs in the household but, given a choice, she loves to have human company. Ivy is a house dog with a low allergy coat that requires regular grooming and clipping. She is best suited to a household where someone is a home most of the time such retirees or work from home people. Ivy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside NSW. She has also had a heartworm prevention vaccination which protects her for one year. If you would like more information on Ivy or to arrange to meet her, please phone Denise on 0405 244871 or email using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. ![]() SCOUT Male Shih Tzu X Maltese Puppy Aged approx. 6 months Small size (when fully grown)
Scout is your typical happy puppy who enjoys playing, snuggling,
napping and any affection he is given. Scout came to
PAWS
having been kept chained up in somebody's backyard, unloved
and unwanted. He has quickly
adapted to
PAWS
life where he is receiving all the love and care a puppy needs.
Despite Scout's rocky
start he is quickly learning to be a confident boy and learning all
the necessary skills a good dog needs in life. His house training is
coming along nicely, as is sit and stay! Scout is looking for a loving
home where he will be a valued family member but is not suited to live
with small children. A home with another small dog for company is
a must as Scout is enjoying the new doggy friends at his foster
carer's home. Scout
is a house dog with a
nice silky coat that will require regular grooming to keep him looking
in tip-top shape!
Scout comes desexed, microchipped, FULLY vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $400 and and is not available for adoption outside NSW.
