BAILEY

Male Cattle Dog (Heeler) X Puppy

Aged approx. 8 weeks

Medium size (when fully grown)

Bailey and Hannah were surrendered to the Pound, having been taken from their mother at just 2 weeks of age because the owner was going away !!!!!  Fortunately a  PAWS foster carer (a vet nurse with vet husband!) were able to care and feed them for the past 6 weeks. In foster care, they had good interaction with the carers' own doggies, who played the role of 'Aunties and Uncles'. Bailey and Hannah are now just over 8 weeks old and ready to go to their forever home, either together or separately. If rehomed apart they will need another young, medium sized dog as a pal. Being a working dog crossbreed, they'll need plenty of space on the property and another dog(s) to energise with for the next 3 years at least !

HANNAH HAS BEEN NAMED IN MEMORY OF A VERY SPECIAL CAT OWNED BY LANIS, A SPECIAL FRIEND AND SUPPORTER OF PAWS

UPDATE 31 OCTOBER: Hannah has found a new home but little Bailey is still available ....

Bailey comes desexed, microchipped, FULLY vaccinated, wormed, and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. BOLERO

Male Purebred Pomeranian

Aged approx. 8 years

Small size

Bolero has been an adored, loved dog in his past life so we're not sure how on earth he's ended up in a Pound as he's so well behaved around the house. He's house trained for toileting, great with other dogs and just loves to curl up at the feet of any human who has the time to sit in a chair! Yes, Bolero is a 'golden oldie' but he had a full dental when under for desexing and is in the best of health to enjoy the 12-15 years of his life expectancy. He's ideally suited to a senior owner who is looking for an inside, constant companion to share their life with.

THANK YOU TO YASMIN FOR HELPING BOLERO (IN MEMORY OF HER MOTHER SUMANA)

Bolero comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. BOOTSY

Male Terrier X

Aged approx. 8 years

Small size

How Bootsy has ended up in the Pound is a mystery as he's in very good condition and has obviously spent many years in a loving home. Bootsy is ideally suited as a companion to retired owners as he loves nothing better than to just curl up near you and keep you company until it's time to help out in the garden, cooking dinner etc. Bootsy's coat is 'teddy bear' like in feel and just requires a good brush through once a week.

THANK YOU TO LANIS OF DUBBO FOR HELPING BOOTSY!

Bootsy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. Fairway is a handsome young doggy and he knows it! He's good with the other doggies in his foster home and well mannered around humans too. Fairway is ideally suited as a pal for another small dog in an all working, all school family lifestyle. His coat is low maintenance and just needs a good brush through once a week.

DARRELL J.

Male Foxy X

Aged approx. 12 months

Small size

Yes - Darrell J. is just another, small, black and white cross breed doggy looking for a new, forever home but, when it comes to personality and loyalty, look no further. This little fella is calm and has wisdom beyond his young age. Darrell J. is a real 'cuddle bunny' and would love a couple of young children to watch over and play with but, when the kids are at school, he'd appreciate another doggy pal to hang out with. His coat is the low maintenance type - just a brush through once a week and he's ready to go.

Darrell J. comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. CLARION

Male Purebred Pomeranian

Aged approx. 2 years

Small size

Clarion is very much a doggy who knows how handsome he is and determined to remind all and sundry of that fact, about ten times each day. He'd just love to be doted on by an active retiree(s) as he prances around the neighbourhood on his daily walk with great aplomb and pride. Clarion's coat is the high maintenance type so typical of Pomeranians and he loves to sit up on the table, whilst his lovely titian red coat is being preened. Clarion's coat will stay looking lovely with a good brush through about three times each week.

THANK YOU TO LANIS OF DUBBO FOR HELPING CLARION!

Clarion comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. REGGIO

Male Purebred Miniature Pinscher

Aged approx. 4 years

Toy size

Reggio is a typical 'Min Pin' - very lively, positive to everything that comes into his life, plays with all his foster pals and then loves to snuggle up at night watching TV and then to bed. He's ideally suited to active retirees who have a small backyard as he'll be inside keeping his human pack company most of the time. Reggio came from the Pound a bag of skin and bones but he's now the ideal weight and very fit so he'll look forward to his daily walk around the neighbourhood, park or beach on most days. His coat is very low maintenance - just a brush once a week, Reggio will appreciate a nice, warm coat when outside in winter time.

FORLI

Male Kelpie X Red Cattle Dog (Heeler)

Aged approx. 10 months

Small size

Forli is a very intelligent dog and, even though he's a cross between two medium sized working dog breeds, his size is smaller than medium. Forli interacts very well with his doggy foster pals and needs a large and secure, fully fenced yard which allows him to energise and play with another dog or two. Forli is ideally suited to an active household, preferably with another young, active doggy pal to keep up with him. His eye contact is excellent and he's had some basic training so the continuance of the reward system of training will turn him off into a wonderful adult dog. Forli's coat is easy maintenance and just needs a good brush through once a week to keep it in good order.

Forli comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. If you would like more information on Forli or to arrange to meet him, please phone Ronda on 02 49308015 or 0418 123852 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. TARGA

Male Tibetan Spaniel X

Aged approx. 18 months

Small size

Targa is a strikingly handsome dog and he knows it! He's very active with his doggy foster pals but very gentle around people and children. Targa is ideally suited to a home with an active family and another small doggy pal he can hang out with when mum and dad are working and the kids are at school. Targa's coat is easy to maintain as no formal grooming is required but a good brush through twice weekly is necessary.

Targa comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. If you would like more information on Targa or to arrange to meet him, please phone Ronda on 02 49308015 or 0418 123852 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. CONSTABLE

Male Shih Tzu X Maltese

Aged approx. 12 months

Small size

Constable has the sweetest nature and he delivers lots of licks and kisses to anyone who gives him a cuddle. Despite coming out of the Pound, his hair was so badly matted there were gnarls of hair around 12 inches long in his coat and the team at Lochinvar Pet Motel and Grooming Salon are convinced that he'd never seen a pair of grooming clippers in his life so groomed him over two sessions to lessen the stress of the experience. Constable is now ready for his new, forever home and he's ideally suited to a family with older children (say 10 years plus) and another doggy pal to hang out with when Mum and Dad are at work and the kids at school. Constable has a coat which will need regular regular trips to the Grooming Parlour about every 8 weeks for the rest of his life.

Constable comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. If you would like more information on Constable or to arrange to meet him, please phone Ronda on 02 49308015 or 0418 123852 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading. PRINCE ARTHUR

Male Maltese X Shih Tzu

Aged approx. 3 years

Small size

Prince Arthur was surrendered to the Pound when his owner's circumstances changed and he's now sporting a fully groomed, new coat, thanks to the team at Lochinvar Pet Motel and Grooming Salon. Prince Arthur is ideally suited to a family and he's excellent with young children. He'll also appreciate another small doggy pal to play with when everyone in the household is at work or school. Prince Arthur's coat is the full grooming type so regular trips to the grooming parlour every 8 weeks will be needed for the rest of his 12-15 life span.

Prince Arthur comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $330. If you would like more information on Prince Arthur or to arrange to meet him, please phone Ronda on 02 49308015 or 0418 123852 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using ADOPTION ENQUIRY as your Subject Heading.
